Overview of Menus
Menus are used in Kentico to create and manage global links. The same functionality and workflows are used for the top navigation, footer, and the sitemap. Below you'll find an introduction to how each of these menus are structured and how to update them.
How to Update a Menu Items
- From the Applications menu, navigate to the Pages interface under Content Management
- Find and expand Global Content from the tree. Click on +
- Find and expand Menus from the tree. Click on +
- Here you'll find access to edit the Global Navigation Menu, Utility Navigation Menu, Footer Navigation Menu, Sub Footer Navigation Menu, and Sitemap Navigation Menu.
- Find and expand on a menu from the tree (e.g. Global Navigation Menu). Click on +
- Click one of the menu category items (e.g. Cost & Pricing). Depending on the menu selected, you may see menu items nested below others and within columns.
- Click on Content tab or make sure it is selected
- Scroll down and update copy
- Click on the Save button
- Click on Preview and then on Open in a new tab (Optional)
- Click on the Publish button
