Costs & Pricing
If an ignition interlock device (IID) is required following a DUI conviction, offenders are responsible for the cost of leasing the device. Typically, they cost between $2.50 and $3.50 per day to lease. Some states do offer financial assistance for eligible applicants. Check your state page for specifics.
Costs of DUI
In addition to the financial penalties assessed legally, there are additional costs to a DUI conviction, including transportation, towing, license fees, assessment fees, increased insurance costs, treatment costs, and more. During the lease, other costs may come up like calibrations, lock-outs, and state fees. All these expenses can total up to $10,000 in some instances, when all costs are combined.
